Heavy weather for the Cilcain Mountain Race 2014.
A prize will be awarded for the first person to complete the race in fancy dress. Speak to the stewards when you enter for eligibility.

The Cilcain Mountain Race is one of the longest running fell races, it is believed to have been held annually since 1960.
The annual running of the Mountain Race, takes place over the course of approximately 4.5 miles climbing to the 1,820ft summit of Moel Famau which sits above the village of Cilcain.

First run in 1960 and held annually since 1973, the 7.5km race, climbs 400m to the summit of Moel Famau which sits above the village of Cilcain. Entrance fee £5.00 includes free show entry (show your race number).
